Vivid Sydney

A dynamic refresh for Sydney’s iconic winter festival, designed to energise the brand and activate the city.

The Vivid Sydney event director approached me to refresh the Vivid Sydney brand for the 7th year of the festival. The event logo and colour palette (purple, pink and blue) were supplied and could not be changed. The new brand system I developed was a visual depiction of the energy that the festival brings to the city of Sydney each year. Like the festival itself, the light ribbons danced their way around the city transforming the city into a canvas of inspiration, light and energy.
