A new national mark, designed to help symbolise and re-inforce Sydney as the home of the annual Australia Day celebrations.

Australia Day council approached me with a brief to design a logo for Sydney and NSW that would depict people travelling from all over the state into Sydney to celebrate Australia Day. A key request within the brief was to ensure the logo has a strong visual connection to the existing national icon that featured coloured ribbons loosely forming the shape of Australia.
